Also, are you really comparing SP's to a QB that's 5 levels below you?

If you're happy with the number of drops you're dealing with, then your tech is probably fine. I'm personally unhappy anytime I see more than 4 drops in a game at Seasoned. That's 1, maybe 2 drives that will have ended in punts due to no effort on the part of the defense. I can't stand the thought of that. 7-8 drops? Now we're talking probably 3-4 drives stalled while I watch someone wide open fail to convert a first down.

I deal with a few more drops than I'd like, but some of that is also on the WR's which is why I preach rec. hands to all the WR's on the team. And it's not like I can up tech even if I wanted too (cap). As I said that's where I planned on putting the cap boosters.

It was the first pocket passing QB I ever made, and I wasn't too familiar with the game yet. Would I change it now if I could do it over? Yeah more than likely (lose the slow build for something else), but is the build complete crap as mentioned previously? I don't think so.

1) the players 5 levels higher also have better interception skills, I suspect you will see your numbers rise too (as will mine next season);
2) when I throw, I throw deep;
3) I'm comparing where my QB was five levels ago, where I had already capped the really important skills like technique, consistency, and accuracy; and
4) the receiving hands, receiving consistency, and catch in traffic on my EB WRs is too low for them to be great WRs, they've been capped for a couple of seasons now.

I typically throw short out/crossing routes, to whoever I can find open (high awareness help a lot here) using 4 WR spread & 5 WR sets. Since I don't hold any blockers back (don't even have a FB on the roster) I use OTR to buff my accuracy since I'll most likely be on the run, which is where our players differentiate between themselves. (may also explain my lower int's/higher comp% as well).

As you say, you're more of a home run hitter, while I dink and dunk and play a more controlled style of play (you have a 1/2 a yard higher average per attempt than I do). It's 2 different styles of play...

In theory I should have hands on my HB's too, but that's my bad. And probably counts for quite a few of my drops.

My WR's are serviceable, but nothing to write home about. Better than a CPU player, but not quite elite either.
