I am kinda confused on how HOF players are selected. Below are the top 2 Special Teams players in rookie tier. Which one do you think is #1?

A. 61 KR for 1709 yards (avg: 28) and 1 TD; 137 PR for 1223 yards (avg: 8.9) and 1 TD

B. 35 KR for 1002 yards (avg: 29) and 1 TD; 130 PR for 1178 yards (avg: 9) and 3 TDs

If you answered B, you are incorrect...

Clearly yardage plays a much larger role than TDs.

The only reason he has more yards is because he has more returns...like almost twice as many. Of course he will have more yards. Even if yards play a bigger role, it should be yards per return not total yards. Plus, TDs should be a HUGE factor. And my guy has DOUBLE the number of TDs and has a better average.

Total yards for HOF is F***ing stupid.

Don't forget that HoF has a Strength of Schedule coefficient in it - maybe player A has played slightly tougher opponents, giving the slight edge.

Double = 2. You really can't expect to be taken seriously when you claim 1 more of something eradicates half of your lead. And your averages, while better, are by 1 yard and .1 yards - within any reasonable margin of error anyone would use to claim "better".

You should force more punts or start giving up more points if it's that important to you.

My returner most certainly doesn't lead in KR yardage, but he's #1 in HoF.

I wouldn't discount TDs and say it's just the yardage difference at play.

Actually I have 4 and he has 2. But your point about strength of schedule has merit. I can understand if that is the case.

It's also who the yards and TDs were against. I'm pretty sure all HOF and MVP ratings take match scores/matchup ratings into account.
