Remove the GL formation from any non-GL situation. What qualifies as a GL situation?

4th and inches
3rd and inches
Red zone

You can't have it for Run Very Short, or Run Short situations, because people could just edit those situations to 10+ yards.
You can't select GL defense vs any non-GL formation, you shouldn't be allowed to run a GL offense outside of GL situations.


Seems like a very, very, very simple fix.

Average gains went from sky high to trent richardson in one blow. Some moderation in sim changes would be preferable.

Then remove it completely - unless you're within 10 or 20 yards of an end zone. I've never seen a team in the history of watching football lineup in the GL formation on 3rd and long on the 50 yard line and run a sweep or a QB rollout. It's retarded.
