I realize we will never get the customizability to to call our own 4th downs in every situation, but how about for certain scenarios where IRL teams would? Maybe add in like a inside opponents 40, 4th and short scenario and let us decide what to call. I'm sick of punting from my opponents 30 on 4th and inches for a net 10 yard gain when I could've kept going. Maybe add in a box for 4th down tendencies, with three options: conservative, normal, aggressive

Then everyone chooses aggressive? Nah.

It would be nice if the "go for it" logic was documented somewhere so people understood why they did or didn't go for it and make realistic suggestions for how to improve things. Adding an option that really isn't an option doesn't make sense.

Yes please, more 4th down control.

As long as there are added defensive tactics to counter these types of things that sounds like a reasonable idea.

I think defensive tactics have some severe catching up to do before offensive tactical options continue to be expanded.

Ya not a huge fan of giving people so many shots at a first down willy nilly. If you don't want to punt from the 30 kick a FG.

I wish I could but the sim picks punt despite my fg range
