Clearly a 1 game example and I'm not 100% sure how good that team is at MO spam, but WR3 killed it that game.

Sophomore and rookie are two different ball games. @ Soph level Quick Read fires damn near every pass for a QB so it's easier to get the ball off.

I don't really have an opinion on the matter, it's very effective at rookie level but at the higher stages it's really easy to eat up if that's all you run.

Yeah, that's actually a team-wide focus right now. Increasing speed and quickness and snap reaction to reach throw points sooner for the QB. That and Carrying Grip, our WRs and TEs have gotten a bad case of fumbilitis recently.

My favorite playbook is my Speed WR3, with my Superstar lining up next to them at WR1, and the other faster Superstar WR at WR2. The superstars are meant to be the possession guys but the WR3 keeps defenses honest over the top. Its even better when the QB holds my cheap FBs in to block.

Yeah, ya'll are built a lot like my intentions for Air Raid 2.0 one day.

Though the new 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse that LBs have become has me tempted to S* 3 LBs and Strong Safety for a future team instead, lol.

Heh, if you wait a few seasons I'll have a superstar LB available. I can do it sooner if you have a specific seasoned planned to start it. (except next season)

Probably will still do my Air Raid 2.0 idea so I doubt I do the LBs. But it's first season will be season 6.

You can't architect the code to have hooks for every possible added feature >_>

Of course, but the guy I war replying to had a sophomore team. Clearly it's harder at rookie level, you can see my terrible rookie offense for a good example.

Keep downvoting posts, whoever does so, but that idiot clearly didnt understand the point of my post. I know it can be beaten at later levels. Im just really talking about rookie ball and especially about the broken play art

While you have very valid points on MOs effect on the rookie level. Others have valid points about it at later stages since any change made to the play will affect all levels.

2. WR3 must be first or second read.

How can you tell if the WR3 is the first or second read?

On the play art it shows the read order.

Believe me, I've tried that. The FS covers too much ground to make wr3 a threat, passes often end in a knock loose or a trailing deflection, until the FS's run out of energy. honestly I'd like to see the free safety line up over the top like a cover 1, but still do man, that way the WR3 has the ability to try to drag or slant inside for a quick throw. Or give QBs a pre-snap ability to let change progression order to target any receiver not directly covered first, regardless of the play call

Currently the most effective play I've seen vs MO is wr3 screen out of the spread. wr4 pulls the SS safety over to the far side, and if the WR3 can catch the pass without falling down (big if) can get at least a 10 yards minimum if WR1 blocks his guy. However any other play that has a defender actually line up on WR3 renders the screen useless.

I have a playbook and depth chart dedicated to beating Middle Overload, if I spot it during scouting I'll use it. Unfortunately if they don't use Middle Overload at least 80% of the time it's useless

Double Post is a good play. 3 WR set, WR3 runs an inside slant at the 5 yard mark. The FS either takes the TE or WR1 going on a fly pattern.
