To be fair, you don't see these routes quite as successful at that level due to the receiver builds and the blitz meta. There's not a bunch of sophomore receivers that can pull of these routes yet to devastating effect before the QB is eating turf.

the fact that now there are 3 or 4 effective rollouts is just plain sad at this point.

Can we make offensive linemen block who is in front of them?

I'm tired of seeing my G/Cs run backwards on inside runs to pick up an outside blitz that is not even a threat to the HB. Maybe lower run block awareness would make them just run forward?

Why? Would you rather the available plays be full of broken plays that don't work?

You have that backwards. Your guy failed his awareness check on the guy in front of him, then made it on the second guy he saw.

So he failed an awareness check of a guy standing directly in front of him, but was able to see a guy out of the corner of his eye that has no effect on the play? Sound logic.

Edit: I absolutely agree that it is a failed awareness check, but on a dive play up the middle the blockers should be intelligent enough to go forward to look for a defender to block. Not turn around in the hole and look for someone else.

I agree. Take the eyes out of the back of the linemen's head.

I'm totally in agreement.

The sim should have a bonus for blocking awareness checks that makes ignoring a guy within say 1 yard virtually impossible. I'd even go so far as to make that for any blocking. Even a pee wee kid with 20/400 vision is going to attempt to block the blur right freakin' in front of him.

Xavori got his Journeyman team this year, since he has signed on as coach they have dropped from the #2 team in GLB to #7 and they are falling fast. It has been truly amazing to see Xavori take over all that talent and shit his pants with it.

To be fair Xav hasn't had a good offense behind him most of the season, I know he is not the most liked but he runs a solid defense.

Edit: woot post 1000

You're expecting anyone to notice the fact Maine's original OC for the season went inactive for almost two weeks, and I've had to scramble to start putting together a new offense the last two games?

As a side note, my offense would be a lot better if my receivers could space out their receptions and drops better...streaky is bad, alternating is good

I could always tell them that they get a super special Bort sticker if they don't drop it.

I'm just pointing out facts.
