Anyone have suggestions for a large DT or potentially NT designed to clog the middle? Mostly gonna gear toward run stopping. Just not sure if I need any points in speed or where else I should focus on outside of strength. Any help is appreciated.

Naw, you dont need speed. Just go break run block, hold ground 60/40 ratio, some consistency & blitz aware. go low pursuit for awhile.
Physicals go a little balance, a little toughness, then pump some decent amount of quicknes and footwork. Onmy rookie I have 17 quick, 21 foot, 15 sprint. Then make sure you have conditioning up enough he will have strength in the 4th quarter. Heart is also important.
Towards end of rookie season or in sophomore, bring snap reaction up huge in a big chunk all at one time. get Shed Block SA, and bring to silver level when you can.
Couple clips from last game with my rookie Nose Legate Methos;

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/60451/907653 (Didnt get credit for tackle but a tackle was made)
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/60451/908001 (sheds his block and makes tackle. again no credit given but)
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/60451/908560 (pushes a kid closing a lane. QB has to sneak far up to reach lane, causing MLB to avoid the right Guard's attempt to down field block.)
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/60451/909175 (nice swim move)
As you can see, you want to have hold ground to push your blocker around. It closes the lanes, and it creates an angle for which your DT can try and break off. You also want to go high tech first though because any little win can cause your DT to break free for a split second and make a play if the running back is rushing through a lane next to him.

tech does nothing during run plays so take heed to that if this is a run stuffer

'Eh sorry I meant break run block. Most of us refer to that as tech when talking about defense. Hold Ground we refer to as power. Just some builder lingo slipping out there.

when your DT doesn't do shit, know exactly why.
gotta love mediocre builders creating builder lingo no one agrees with.

Max out balance.
