Even if I thought there was imbalance there, which I definitely do not, that'd still tick me off that I'm now stuck with a bunch of players who we spent money on that can no longer play because they were built and spent points on a now broken play.

If, on the other hand, they take away QB Rollout Strong in spite of the fairly overwhelming evidence that it's not some OP magical win-all, but gave me the ability to completely rebuild all the players on my offense, I'd be disappointed, but I'd know that I hadn't wasted any money since I could just rebuild players to fit some new scheme.

The free respec would go to absolutely everyone. Not just the teams like yours. To which that is really just tough shit imo.

Besides nothing is changing. Most they'll do is what Adder asked for. Better options on defense. If they can improve defender pathing, containment and plays there's no problem with QB's built to rush. This is a video game not a sim. They just need to make sure it's balanced, because according to like 20 owners, it's not right now.

According to rookie league in general it isn't. Do you think all those teams built their teams to QB run on coincidence? lol

Yes. Because it should.

And 'tough shit' is a really bad way to approach customer retention

They did so because of the bazillion or so threads claiming it's OP (this also happens in practically every MMOG). It'll actually be a fascinating experiment to see just how much of a crutch it is for rookies.

I mean, I think it'll work better than passing in the early part of the season simply because running works better than passing. But I think as the season progresses, the teams that commit to medium to long passing attacks are going to start eating the others for breakfast because there is absolutely no way to get a rookie DB enough Footwork, Coverage Technique, Man/Zone awareness, Deflection, Quickness, and Sprinting to match up to a WR who just needs Sprinting, Quickness, Receiving Hands, and Sprinting to run those easy routes right past the poor DB's.

Those threads aren't by coincidence either and you obviously know that. Don't get me wrong tho. 90% of those top rookie teams won't make it to vet league. That I know.

Well at least not under their current incarnations anyways.
