At this stage of the season, an "unexperienced" player is not going to get a contract from anyone - he's too low level to be useful to a team right before the playoffs. Retire and re-make the player, with the "experienced" box checked off, and you might get on a team. Definitely take the offer from the CPU teams - a real team can sign you off of that team whenever they want to.
