OK...

Im just a bit confused. If we tal about Rookie, then EVERYONE started with the same ELO, right? So how is it possible, that one team is ahead of all other teams?

This Team: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/team/766

is 2-0 and ranked 237 overall. They won the first league Game (just like roughly 50% of all teams did) and played their first ladder Game vs a 1-0-0 Team (Just like a lot of teams did) and won (Inb4).

But yet all teams are 243 who accomplished exactly the same

Thats really just an example as all teams form rank 2 to rank 22 have exactly the same story. - http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/rankings?tier=Rookie

May have changed until you look, depending on upcoming games, but I made screenshots.


So how is that possible that RUN GLB is ranked higher?^^

That's pretty interesting. Points to a bug in GLB elo calculations imo; maybe some floating point error with calculations being rounded to some precision before being stored for the ranking?

Yeah...sth is buggy there, I agree. Or at least I hope its buggy cause otherwise the system really wouldnt make any sense

I think it is taking scrimmage games into account. Run GLB has won every scrimmage game, boobs hasnt played any, dd 2.0 has lost 1, won 3.

It was clearly said that Scrimmages do not count buddy. Besides...there wouldnt be 22 tied for second if thats the case

If I had to guess, it was one of the games that crashed and had to be resimmed, and it calculated ELO twice.

Ah OK...so they are 4-0 atm for the sim? Doesnt really matter to this time but would suck if that would influence stuff on the last ladder games of the season

But thx for clearing that up...I guess that doesnt happen too often

Was also interested in seeing how this happened. My players have 4 games recorded, even though we only played 3 like everyone else
