Ok, so my guy just went 2 for 2 in a league game that counted...put him in a scrimmage game and he goes 0 for 2. And it highlights everything that is wrong with the kicking game.
On the first play:

A 40 yard kick early in the game...my kicker has 99 morale and 95 energy, one of the best on the field, so I doubt either of those is at issue.
As he kicks a guy comes shooting up the middle however, and then the kick is "missed" despite looking like it goes through the uprights.
So, my question is: A. Was the kicker hurried by that pressure ? and B. Did the guy instead deflect the kick, C. brush into it, D. Touch air near it ?
At 99 morale and 95 energy I Dont think it was that he was too tired or demoralized, he has high consistency as well, and it was not late in the game, so thats out too. So...why is that a miss ? Did the blitzer have an effect on the kick, and if so, in what way?
Now on to play #2...

A slightly longer 43 yard field goal, later in the game in the 3rd quarter...but this time there is much less pressure as the guy shooting the middle does not get very close. Also, my kicker has even MORE energy and morale on this play at 100 morale and 100 energy.
So it can not possibly be morale or energy when both are at a perfect 100. His consistency is also very high, and with 100 morale and 100 energy I Don't think it is that either.
And now the main problem, as you watch the kick...it appears to go through the uprights...but then is labeled a "miss"
But when you pause the kick at the end, it literally is through the upright. As in, if it was off left the ball would have to disseapear BEHIND the goal post of it went off left, but it does not. You can infact see the entire ball as if it went through. But yet is labeled a miss.
It also appears to have the distance, and if it went off right it certainly does not appear to have such depth as it looks to be between the uprights.
So : Why is this a miss ? We have no way to tell because the mechanics of the field goal shows the ball doing the same thing every time as it does not "pass" the goalpost if it is in fact off left or right. Is this what happens when it "hits the crossbar" ? It gets stuck and freezes ? If you cant show the mechanic then at least say in the outcome "missed-off crossbar".
Right now the mechanic is messed up, and there is also no info so it should be adressed.
Now, if people just do not care enough about field goals to want this to get fixed, I can sortof understand that to some degree, but do not tell me I am "wrong" or any other nonsense when there is clearly an issue with the kicking.
So...do blitzers affect the kick ? If they dont block the kick can they brush the kick and affect its course ? Do kickers "feel" the pressure from them ? And, lastly, the field goal animation is clearly not accurate and no information is given so you cant even tell if the kick was off left, right, crossbar, or anything else, or if it was some other variable. At least have an accurate animation if you give no other information. Without either you end up with a really really stupidly done field goal play.
