The rookie team that I GM in another league just beat the Saints in OT in a scrimmage. They've taken a step backward with the new roster and lack of chemistry.

It's not cool to post advice against a specific team on the forum imo. Let the game tape speak for itself for the people who bother to gameplan.

Absolutely correct. Lost track of which forum I was posting in - the post meant for this one was the previous one about them taking a step backward. On top of not being a cool thing to do, I didn't intend on giving away my own game-planning ideas.

All very valid points. I could've took the high road and probably should've, but after reading the posts in this thread along with the bombardment of PMs and Chat Messages that were worse than anything posted in this thread I decided to come out swinging. I am not and will not apologize for something I did not do so if anyone is waiting for that, they can keep waiting. I did however do the right thing and remove every account that was questionable and start over with either players built by me or recruited.
I have also contacted support about removing these threads as they are not doing any good here now since the issue is in the past.

Scrimmage games aren't entirely useless to review tape, as you can see how quickly individual players move and react frame by frame, but it's not a fantastic idea to scout for strategy and tactics with them. Most coaches will have a generic offense and defense for scrimmages or will use them as a test lab to isolate a particular sim behavior. I mean, hell, I use ladder games for that too, because I couldn't care less about them. Might even want to roll out a crap set against a playoff-bound team you're fairly sure you'll face later on if you're not going to hurt your chances with getting in or with seeding.

First off let me just say the handling of this situation by all parties involved (GLB, Players, Coaches, etc...) is absolutely horrid. I for one felt like reading this thread it was a bitch fest over something that had absolutely no competitive advantage, and in the end actually hurt the team that obviously had some shady dealings.
I want to address a few things that happened in this thread and when I am done, locking it down as it should have been done long ago and apologize that it wasn't. I was just recently brought around this forum and no one notified me about the situation. I am not coming in with a holier than thou attitude about this, just addressing facts.
