I'm the DC and been interim OC for a while... and well... I'm alright but we need somebody better than me. If you're better than me and want a job we could use you. Only requirements are that you either get better results than me or spend more time on the Offense than me.
We'll always have a full roster with 4 Tight Ends, 2 blocking, two receiving, and a full roster of O-linemen. We'll have two exceedingly fast WR's next season with 3 regularly built WR's who can get seperation on cuts and such. We'll have on of each HB, and a receiving FB with a blocking FB. Our QB is very well built and we have a rushing QB as well.
As a DC I've managed to put together the 4th ranked defense in the league, with the 2nd most interceptions and the 2nd most fumbles forced. But I need a partner who can run an offense better than me.
Now obviously the team isn't all sunshine and rainbows, otherwise I wouldn't need an OC to replace me, we have several issues on offense that make it a little difficult to OC. A lot of our O-linemen are slower than they should be at this level making the sweep an screen game harder than it should be at this level. Our elusive HB really can't make that many people miss, neither can our rushing QB. Our passing QB is intended as a Deep Passer, but our O-line has often made us resort to shorter throws as we are still shuffling personnel and replacing a few dots to get better pass protection along with more speed for Pulls on sweeps and screens. Our Scat HB drops a lot more balls than he should.
All that being said I'd still like to find someone who knows what they are doing and can give us a boost in performance in a few places... mainly in the W column. I'm not looking to get jerked around or stuck with somebody inactive or who's not really willing to put any time in.
