Week 6 Predictions- This marks the third week of divisional play with the Gamma division clinging to a 1 game lead over the Bravo. I apologize for the late posting…. Work kept me late today. Off to the games!
Divisional Results from Week 2
Alpha 3 wins
Bravo 4 wins
Gamma 5 wins

Minnesota Stunners (5-0) vs. Eugene Hell Hounds (2-3)
Minnesota, from the Bravo, will host Eugene, from the Alpha, in this divisional matchup. The Stunners look to continue their pursuit towards a number 1 seed when they host the Hell Hounds. Eventually the Hounds schedule will get easier, but they will continue to give up chunks of yards in this one when they face the number 1 offense in the league. This one will be close early, but the Stunners will pull away late.
Prediction 31-10 Stunners
Outcome 31-0 Stunners

Nebraska Cornhuskers (4-1) vs. LaPaz Challengers (0-5)
Nebraska, from the Gamma, will host LaPaz, from the Alpha, in this divisional matchup. LaPaz is the team no one can figure out. This could possibly be one of the best 0-5 teams ever. They travel to the Nebraska to play the Gamma Division leading Huskers. The Huskers can flat out score the football, but they will be held in check when they face the ball control style of LaPaz. The Huskers will be looking ahead to a matchup next week against the Alliance. LaPaz has to win at some point, so in an upset.
Prediction 14-13 Challengers
Outcome 38-22 Cornhuskers

Band of Brothers (0-5) vs. Canton Bulldogs (2-3)
Band of Brothers, from the Bravo, will host Canton, from the Alpha, in this divisional matchup. The Band of Brothers will be looking their first win of the season when they face a Bulldog team still trying to find their offensive identity. The Bulldogs have a huge advantage over the Band of Brothers in this one. Canton will surpass their best offensive output of the season in this blowout.
Prediction 27-7 Bulldogs
Outcome 10-7 Band of Brothers

Eastern European Alliance (2-3) vs. Montreal Blue Knights (3-2)
Eastern European Alliance, from the Bravo, will host Montreal, from the Gamma, in this divisional matchup. Eastern Alliance suffered a setback last week against the GUACAMOLE! in a game which was much closer than the score indicated. They play against a Blue Knights team which struggled against the Band of Brothers in a 14-0 victory. EEA is much better than their record indicates and has a slight edge in this matchup. This game will be a tough test for both teams, but the home field will prove too much.
Prediction 17-14 EEA
Outcome 19-14 EEA

Mushroom City Fighting Shrooms (3-2) vs. Valletta Vampires (0-5)
Mushroom City, from the Bravo, will host Valletta, from the Gamma, in this divisional matchup. Mushroom City will control the game from the onset in this battle. The only thing left to question is if the Vampires will get off 3 total points in the season after this game. This will have to wait for another week.
Prediction: 51-0 Shrooms
Outcome 59-0 Shrooms

*Game of the Week*
Sexy Dance Fighters (4-1) vs. HOLY GUACAMOLE! (5-0)
Sexy Dance Fighters, from the Gamma, will host the HOLY GUACAMOLE!, from the Alpha, in this divisional matchup. Two division leaders square off in this game in a matchup which gives a slight edge to the GUACAMOLE!. The Sexy Dance Fighters have rank fourth in the league in rushing offense while the GUACAMOLE! rank second. The Sexy Dance Fighters have the best run defense in the league while the GUACAMOLE! have the best scoring defense. This game will be decided on the ground, and field and turnovers will play an important factor. Both teams will give up over 200 yards on the ground, but I have to go with the home team in this one. The Dance Fighters will win this by a field goal in a game which the GUACAMOLES! will not be able to retain an early first half lead. And yes PaulM, I realize your defense has not given up 24 points in a league game.
Prediction 20-17 Dance Fighters
Outcome 14-3 Dance Fighters

Divisional Results after Week 3
Alpha 3 wins
Bravo 8 wins
Gamma 7 wins

Yeah, if there's any team that can put up 50 on the Guacamole it's SDF.

We're coming off a hugely disappointing ladder game, too, so I really want to get a win here.

I feel your teams pain... Bad ladder week for Adams. Fumbles cost my dots against the Saints.

My goal was to limit their QB runs. Their two TDs? Long QB runs. I'll figure it out by the playoffs though!

Maybe its time for LaPaz to throw in some QB run plays.

GG HOLY GUACAMOLE! We were able to break 2 big runs all game and that was it. Other than those two plays, you guys shut us down. See you in the playoffs.
