Texas Toast (3-2) (104) at DeepRoute Allstars (2-3) (36)
MATCHUP: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/compare_teams/291/358

Texas Toast has had quite the turnaround season from last season. Last season they were written off as a team that couldn't contend in Osprey but this that is far from the truth recently. DeepRoute is playing for keeps in this game. After losing the last 2 games in close fashion against the top 2 teams in Beta and arguably 2 of the top teams in Osprey gives them something to analyse. I would expect DeepRoute to get it done this week and get back to .500.

PREDICTION: DeepRoute Allstars 28 - Texas Toast 24

Alpine (2-3) (16) at Helmand Provincial Pathan Pansies (3-2) (56)
MATCHUP: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/compare_teams/292/34

Alpine is in a complete downfall similar to a champion downhill skier out of control. The only prayer they have is that they run into a tree or a snow bank. One could break the season other could set them up for a comeback. Helmand has had some new life on the offensive side of the ball and they will be holding tight to this success against Alpine. By all means Alpine is no joke, they are just struggling at the moment. Expect Alpine to give up a few points in this game but I can't see Helmand's D holding Alpine down all game.

PREDICTION: Alpine 21 - Helmand Provincial Pathan Pansies 17

Ministry of Dotball (4-1) (25) at Sacramento B-Squad (1-4) (88)
MATCHUP: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/compare_teams/293/295

Ministry has been playing some grade A ball after getting their asses handed to them by Detroit. But that is not the story in this game. Sacramento though the record doesn't indicate this is a well improved team that has nothing to lose in this game. They need a win and desperately so. I expect this game won by a combination of Ministry's offense which as been clicking lately and some dumb luck on defense.

PREDICTION: Ministry of Dotball 31 - Sacramento B-Squad 21

Detroit Foreclosures (3-2) (22) at Rhode Island Aftershocks (0-5) (144)
MATCHUP: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/compare_teams/357/297

Detroit lost a close game last week to the newcomers of Osprey and this frankly has the locker room a little pissed off. I witnessed a few toons going ape shit calling for the Aftershocks to prove a point and this couldn't be a worse time for the winless Rhode Island team to play Detroit. Expect a blowout.

PREDICTION: Detroit Foreclosures 35 - Rhode Island Aftershocks 10

Undead Xombi (0-5) (132) at New York Gangsters (2-3) (52)
MATCHUP: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/compare_teams/300/211

Next man says the whore of Osprey. Gangsters rape the Undead lead by "Reaper of the Dead"

PREDICTION: New York Gangsters Many - Undead Xombi Less

##################### GAME OF THE WEEK #####################

Kansas City Beached Whales (5-0) (54) at Tampa Piranhas (5-0) (8)
MATCHUP: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/compare_teams/294/354

Ding... Ding... Ding... "LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE" here is the matchup against the two remaining unbeaten teams in Osprey. Kansas City has been a complete suprise in running free early in the season but will they get a taste of an Osprey powerhouse this week? Both teams fit a similar style of play and usually rely on some timed luck to pull games out. You don't go back to back champions unless you have a few games like that. This may be unfair but until Kansas City truly proves themselves contenders I will have to side with Tampa on this game. Expect a bloody trench war in this game. Team who has the ball last will take this one away.

PREDICTION: Tampa Piranhas 17 - Kansas City Beached Whales 14

Nice predictions. I hope the dumb luck falls B-Squads way.

Beta slowly trying to take back Division prominence from Alpha. Only back 1 game now. Just need to carry Xombi's fail a few more weeks and hopefully we'll take back #1 division.

All in all I still think Beta is the more dominant division... 3 teams in top 25? Hard to argue that. Only 1 other team in top 25 and they are in Alpha. Actually only 3 other teams in top 50, 2 in Alpha and 1 in Gamma so considering I still say Beta is best.

Man! That was a good game Stobie! I had you scouted out and set up screen plays to run against your middle overload. One worked and this would have been another TD had the WR caught the ball. Actually there were a few plays were my WR would have probably scored a long TD had they caught the screen pass.

I over did it with the screens though because every pass was a screen and you weren't always in middle overload.

As I predicted it came down to our offense clicking (stiff arm play and passing game) and some dumb luck on defense (stopping majority of screens) for us to pull out the win and could have been by 7+ points had not been for that fumble we had late in the redzone.

Still a hell of a game, and knew it would be. Just need to turn the corner on pulling those wins out.

Or Wilson could have taken it to the house if he had just one more blocker resulting in a win for Sac. All in all, it was a fair game and a hard fought one. No complaints. Its B-squad's turn next season for su

GG Tampa, that Kibbie TD run that proved to be the game winner was disgusting:

How do I tell my guys to run like that?

Man. Barely had any time to prep for this game with a work deadline. Really wish I had a good DC so I don't need to worry about everything every game :-P

Osprey is the baws league. Some of their teams with the worst league records actually dominate in the ladder games here. Like, um, the B-squad. If you do well here you can rest assured you are making the correct decisions.
