Can't really see that it is necessary to sticky the weekly preview threads. They would still be easy to see and you don't have to click on the old threads when they are unstickied to remove the '!' from the home page.

One thing that absolutely deserved a sticky, that is missing this season, was the watch party!

Didn't know people really liked it, I will make another one.

THAT'S why I kept getting phantom !s! Every time I see one and have no new topics I couldn't figure out what was causing it, so I would just open up the top half of posts to make it go away.

i think you should make a thread that says Hi Cav. lock it and randomly sticky and unsticky it from time to time.

So my stickiness caused the issues, but am I really to blame or is that the code keeps it as unread is the problem. I mean we are the most active forum, that might be the reason for it! LOL

And for the record, my forums still says unread posts when nothing is stickied, I believe its a different kind of bug in the game.

It's the same bug as always, performing a sticky/unsticky causes the forum to think a thread is newer than your last read of the thread, but the thread itself knows it isn't newer so there's not a "new" tag on the thread. Just read all the previously-stickied threads and you're good to go.
Alternatively, always post in a thread after you sticky/unsticky it.
