This makes sense, if 2 CBs had lvl 3 on an island fire then that would be so lol.

or if the 4yd diameter is applied to the CB instead of the ball or the receiver, that could be why it fired in that play.

I think it does apply to the player with the skill. Going over that reply again frame by frame, maybe, just maybe, that LB is over 4 yards away. He is about three yards away laterally, and up a bit. That could work out to 4.1 or something similar.

Everyone of my CBs(on DD) have it and I run a ton of Man coverage with no help over the top and I have seen it a handful of times on the season. Something clearly isn't working correctly with it, in fact I've seen it fire more when my CB completely got left standing still on a cut and is 4 yards away from the Receiver than anything else.

So I suspect that it only fires when there is no other players(including WRs)around the CB. It must be fixed, then.

As mentioned, I've seen it fire when the CB was right on top of the WR, so that is not the issue.

Not saying you haven't, but post the play. I can't remember a time that it has fired on one of my guys when he is right on top of the WR.
