I want to cut a player so he can create a different position for the team but i don't see any sort of "cut player" button...i'm the owner if that helps

go to your team roster, and there should be a pair of scissors next to the player name. Click that and it will cut him

If there isn't a cut button, then your roster is at the minimum (37, I think). Sign someone else, and you can cut. Worst case, make a 50 point player yourself, sign him, cut the guy who needs cutting, sign his new guy, and then cut your crappy placeholder.

Could also just sign a CPU player instead of having to create his own.
