So this guy is on a rookie team http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/26537

If his team were in the playoffs (which they are inactive thankfully and not in them.) he would have just played the playoffs with 6000+ more SP's than anyone else.

Sounds like a big advantage - can you explain how I can do this next season?

And then it's a problem all the way up the tiers, right?

Seems undesirable, not entirely sure how to fix it. If it's enforceable, level caps for a team should be specific to the % progress, not just level (ps this also would solve the already-solved issue of people making an experienced dot then signing to a team that hasn't played yet that day).

I've been seeing an idea tossed around, and I wanted to check with a higher-up to see if it's actually true/works/will be fixed anytime soon. Basically, right now, rookie teams can sign "level 0" players, but not 0 experience players. So teams like http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/roster/383 can have a QB like http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/25113 , who has more XP than "natural" players. And in the league championship game, they'll have players who are an entire tier above the other team, who will be able to boost again before the title game.

So is it staying that way? Or will rookie ball require 0 XP players?

Grr, I had just assumed Bort dealt with that.

So the team that's planning out Season 4 superstars made at the end of Season 3 (so as to hit level 1 after game 1, and to be sophs for the playoffs) is not going to happen?

If they want to wait a week to sign their superstars, sure.

It's clearly not intended because that just creates an optimal day to build a player and all other days are inferior, and that is a BIG thing that we were trying to get away from with GLB2.
