It looks like so many rookie team owners went inactive this season that the game now has boosted Sophomore players with nowhere to go but cpu teams. Unless a new team owner can buy a Soph team outright then I can see a glut of players that want to continue their player builds who will just give up and retire them instead of spending all of Season 3 on a cpu team. I own a rookie team that's renewed for many seasons and I have a full roster that is staying together. But the forum is packed with Soph players looking for teams so my question is: Will there be enough human-owned teams in Season 3 for Soph players?

If you think OP is such a problem why don't you recruit as many as you can to your team

Reading comprehesion isn't high on your list, is it?
I stated that I had my roster filled but I had enough demand from boosted Soph players to fill another team (all from either my own player owners or player owners on teams in our league who's owners went inactive). There just aren't any teams for them.

I've been wondering this as well. I believe that they will sell sophomore teams this season, but only time with tell.

Last season they let players catch up in lvl of missed games, and sold sophomore teams.

I think this will actually be an enduring problem in GLB2 and a flaw in the thinking on only selling freshmen teams.
Alot of guys sign up to be owners who are not really cut out for it, as I've said many times ownership isn't for everyone.
Lots will try and after one season (or even less) , just quit. Your always going to have more sophomore players than teams and have this problem all over again season after season.

Why doesn't everyone just listen to you
