Here is my situation, I have a SS DT on a team this season. However that team is gonna reset next season, as is my team. IS it possible to retire him in time this season to get a SS spot for next season. Another thing to consider too is I do have enough for yet another SS of the 50PT range. So would it matter when I retire him at all. What I would like to see come out of this is having this SS spot for my own team.

if nothing else you can always sit him not on a team while youre team catches up to his level, he wont lost any of his career this way as careers are games based and not days based

I'm pretty sure once you get XP and/or the next season starts after you've created your SS you don't get the points back

I've created and retired within the same season (offseason) and got the points back
