dumb superstar question (because I'm dumb)

If I make a superstar...but make a bad decision on the stat selection...and then see that my max's aren't good...and retire him...I will have lost my superstar ability even if he never played a game...

correct?

It's been said you get your super star points back. Just read the last line of the warning when you confirm retirement. The superstar must not have 1 single game played or you lose him. Otherwise, your cool.

FAQ says 180,000 SP. Are you saying the initial 1k is not counted as earned?

You don't "earn" the first 1k. You start with it.

Superstars don't start with 1k SP

If you read the retire warning, it says superstar points are refunded if the player has never played a game...

Yeah I can't read. I thought TxSteve's post said he would get the S* point back, correct. That's my fault. I retired and remade my S* DT several times, you get the points back.

laggo's way seems to much work

Just so we are on the same page here, all I need to do in order to simulate a super star is select "slow built", and any other 2 traits I want. Then, change the SPs to 287,437.

Correct?

Jep. The only reason slow built is in the game.
