Scrim simmed twice today, identical plays in each.

I seem to recall this being reported once before, but damned if I can find the previous thread on it.

If two teams schedule a game at the same time then the sim will be the same. Like you, I remember that from the past (perhaps on the test server) and that was the answer.

Yes, because the seed is identical for both games, so all of the random events will have the same result.

I don't really recall how the games were scheduled - would have to ask the owners, they were set up quickly at some point today. I thought it was just one game scheduled that got turned into 2 games when it simmed, though. As if the process to start a game up had a hiccup and fired it up twice.
