He's saying that the playbook would block you from adding it if that's what the devs wanted.

People are just going to have to adjust.

You always had to because most of the plays didn't have the right coverages until the new coverage assignment fix was put in. But that is suppose to be changing at some point.

I don't think so. I seem to remember running different amounts of CBs against 4 and 5 wide sets before heuristic coverage, based on my play priority.

Nope. If you got them to fire it was only because you didn't also have a play that was tagged specifically for that set of WR's. It is why 5 WR was so damn ridiculous because most of the plays designed for it were ridiculous but they were the only ones that covered all 5 WR's. But you couldn't take chances with the blitz's that weren't designed for it and use the tagged plays because of that very reason.

I can't believe some of you are saying it's not an exploit. I'm not a fucking retard and I couldn't get it to fire certain plays without tricking it. Not to mention, someone had to tell me how to do it. I tired a bunch of scrimmages and couldn't get it to work. So you think the average player is going to know how to do it? I don't think so. That's why it's gotta be an exploit! If the Dev's ment it to be like that in the first place, why did they add the band aid later, and not have it in there already?

"Exploiting" the defensive tags on defensive plays to trick the defensive playbook into only running the plays you want. Folks are generally using them probably opposite of developer intentions.

Example: You want to run "All Dogs Go" against all 3/4/5WR sets. You pick "All Dogs Go" as one of your two plays for those sets. The other play, you'd probably want to pick a 2WR defense for those sets, and make it a non-blitzing defense. Then set your blitz frequency in the Tactics to 100%. Thus, every time you lined up in 3/4/5WR, of the two plays you selected, it'd only ever use All Dogs Go.

Now, take this advice, plug it into your defensive playbook, and enjoy your free ride into the top 50 or so of the ladder.

Try this. Put two plays in all of your defensive formations except for goalline. 3-3-5 Dogs All go, and 4-4 Zero Edge Blitz. Set your AI to use the experimental coverage with the checkbox at the top. It's not a perfectly setup playbook/AI to run this, but it'll get you started on the lolblitzcoaster.

Just put your best sprinting/quickness LBs at LOLB and ROLB. Profit. You'll end up with safeties covering guys. Doesn't matter if they even have any man awareness. They just need to be in the vicinity of the receiver for a couple seconds to cause the QB to hesitate and eat a sack.
