Players you make today should be lvl 3 exactly and be fine.

We are holding back on that to keep them around so we can try to find the root of the bug. We are thinking it might be one of the servers doing something screwy though...as you'll have like a player created at 4:32pm that is one game ahead, but player ID +/- 1 have the correct amount of XP.
Bort redirected all player creation to one server yesterday and today, and it seems there were no bugged players...so, yeah.
