And then you have the problem I face in that teams scrim me and all the scrims that I don't see (and manually tag) basically go to waste.

Yeah, there's a downside to it, no doubt.

I rarely notice scrims others get with my team, so I just think of them as being me helping them out. I only plan for the ones I pay for.
