Thanks for answering these questions. I got another, this owner has only 1 player. That player is a free agent. In GLB2 where can I see if he is tagged inactive? This is my first season back after being in GLB1 for seasons 3-22. I actually have to check his account in GLB1 to see when he last logged in because I don't know how to do it in GLB2.

I suspect since it's been over 3 days he is tagged as inactive but I am curious if there is a way to tell for sure

I went through the inactive owner issue with one of my players. If you write to the SUPPORT forum with the link to your player, your team, and your owner they will send him a msg. If the owner refuses to reply to the support team then your player will become a free agent. This was the case for me and my player, im not sure what would happen if the unresponsive owner told support that he wished to keep the unhappy players though... that might be a different story.
