Just wondering if that is considered a player playing out of position? Is it better to have a dead tired FS play his true position all game long, or sub in a fresh SS as a FS to give the FS a breather?

There is a penalty but as far as I know no one know what it is. I know there are teams out there doing it so the penalty can't be all that bad.

I'm not sure there's even a defined penalty. I think the penalty is that their build is probably generally considered not ideal

Supposedly they brought over the Out of Position penalties from GLB1. Folks have assumed it's 5% for positions so closely related like FS/SS.
