Are there any benefits that you get (skill points or anything) on being a coordinator?

Being a coach does not earn anything extra for the players. If you want to immerse yourself deeper in the game then consider being a coach. The nice thing about GLB2 is that it isn't as time consuming as Classic.

Still pretty time consuming.
Alot of GMs time required to figure out what works in GLB2, unless you want a crappy coaching record. lol
