This is admittedly minor...
but - where you currently have the league games on the league page (says "Week 4 Games") - simply add a drop down menu that will toggle that to Ladder Games.
In addition - add a column (or something) that lists current ladder rank - like:
Iowa Rogues (18) vs Mongolian Horde (26) (as a matter of fact - adding this number to the league standings would be interesting even though ladder rank has no effect on league play)
That way I can follow my leagues ladder games without having to click on all the different teams to see it.
I think anything (particularly anything easy) that promotes more interaction among league members (cheering for each other / razzing each other / etc) is good for the game. The more communities that are created here - the more attached people become.
Seems like an easy way to make ladder games seem more valuable/highlighted as well.
