When hitting from front or side, while running at 50% of max speed, this SA fires.

Since all the pass rushers out there tend to hit QB from the side, and because many QB are't exactly good ball carriers, it seems to be an effective one to spend AP on if you want to see some fums by QB.

But, has anyone seen is fire frequently enough from pass rushers and does it make a difference?

I got it on a DT and never seen it fire.

Doesn't sound too bad on a blitzing LB though.

I had it on my blitzing LB last season before I respeced. It was a small sample because I joined late but I never saw it fire.

Remember you have to be going 50% of your speed for it to have a chance to fire. Monster Hit doesn't work against the QB in GLB1 so maybe it is the same in GLB2.

Are you implying that by the time a pass rusher sacks the QB, there is no way he can be going at the speed of 50% or faster?

Seems Shed Block and Spin Cycle are must have's for pass rushers. See them fire all the time.

That said, I believe some SA's don't have test alerts when firing so we may never know how effective they are.

Shed Block works against run block in glb2. ion glb1 against both.

II think i have seen it fire on my DT while pass rushing. Will have to check.

Only time I saw it fire on a pass play was when QB took off running. Guess the fact that it is triggered/powered by break run block should have clued me in.

I've got two stars on a blitzing LB. It almost always causes a fumble when it fires, but I can't remember if it's ever been on a sack. It's usually on runs.

too many good pass rush sas and too many qbs with zero grip to take monster hit early.

It did fire as the play showed. He lost the morale like the ability says he would. The + to power tackling and the - to tackling technique can not been seen so there really is no way to tell if you got that bonus and negative.
