Can a player receive and accept contract offers from teams if they are already on a team? (Sort of like a buy out). When I made my first player I didn't know better and accepted a CPU offer and the owner of the team is very inactive and my guy rarely plays. So it would be nice to be able to join another team.

Players on teams with innactive owners CAN accept new contracts. You can't put up a marketplace ad (it's a glitch, Corndog is aware, not sure if it's going to be fixed soon). But you can sign with someone else, should you get the contract offer.
