There is that supposition again. Just because your team is not "doing bad", that does not mean your team is "good". But if you are too "good", then you play a lot of games against other "good" teams, which often end up being much lower scoring and statpadding affairs than the games you play against everyone else. If you are on a decent team, but not a "good" team - you will likely accrue the same kind of stats the "good teams" do against average teams, but you won't have to play as many "good" teams in your other games. Yet you'll still be playing teams in the top 30-50%, which I assume has to be worth a decent amount.
SoS is what is FUBAR'ing the current standings with no tiers.
There are < 5 rookies on either the top 100 seasonal offensive and defense lists and the only reason they crack the list at all is because they have equivalent or better stats than the top of those lists (yet are closer to the bottom).
For example, a rookie 2473 yards and 27 TD's strength of schedule pushes a Sophmore 1226 yards and 5 TD's ahead a spot.
Before Corndog eats me yes they will be split into Tiers but I would be pretty e-mad if I was #2 to someone with 8 less TD's because they played in a league that was more active than mine.
