What is the SP trick?

Right click on the number of SPs available on your player page, and click 'Inspect Element'. You can then modify the value of skill points available to spend, and see what the end build will be like. Doesn't save this, but it's good for working out what type of end levels you'll have on your attributes.

This is actually how I am testing my model. I have retired a dot that was designed the same way as my current CB. I give the retired dot 209,000 pts. and assign those to the same level that my current dot is at. My model shows the same value of dots remaining as the retired dot. The odd thing is my model is showing an inaccurate number of total SPs at the end. I have to assume something with the end of my model is messed up slightly.

29k pts from boosts (I still haven't determined precisely when all those are put out exactly, at this point I have assumed each of the first 4 boosts to equal 8k pts but I can't remember).
750 * 150 = 112.5k pts. from games
67k pts. from level gains
Players start with 1k pts.
totals to be 209.5k pts.
Clearly I am off somewhere, but I don't see it.

Your right I come up with 209.5k. Maybe it's just a typo for the FAQ.

SuperStar player -20%SP Cost,so U could set the SP number 219000x1.2=262800

actually 219000 * 1 / (1 - 0.2) = 273750

Quite a lot of difference between this and 262800

and if you want to get accurate caps for a superstar, build your test player with "slowbuilt", and use .25 instead of .2.

the first 2 boosts is 4k if it helps you

Thank you both. I am glad to know it is not just me. I thought the 3k was quite strange as well, but we will see. As for the first few boosts that does help. I am pretty sure the 2nd 2 are as well. I am surprised bort posted the FAQ with the level gains, but not the boost gains. Not really that and big of a deal...

As for the superstar issue, I should be able to calculate that precisely with the use of slow build and calculations as demonstrated.

how is that. In this case it is additive since it is replacement.

deleted cause i felt like it

but can give a hint, just cause you raise prices with 5% and lowers it next week to 80% of original price doesn't allow you to say it's a 25% discount

you bring up a valid point, but it won't be hard to calculate. that was my only point, I did not realize you put a precise 25% in your first post (I should have read things a bit closer).
