I definitely underestimated the new teams in the league for week 1...so I learned my lesson. But I think this week seems to be clearer in regards to the winners. Hopefully I do a little better this week and build up some credibility.
Last week:
Straight Up: 3-3
Vs Spread: 2-4
1) Portland vs GSD: I think this one is close. Im still not sold on Portland even though they beat South End, but I dont think GSD is as committed. Im going with the Niners here and maybe conservative on the spread.
Portland by 5
2) Iowa vs Twin City: Sorry Twin City, you conquered last week but running into the champs now. Crazyveggie needs a few more sophomores on his team before he can be competitive in this league.
Iowa by 21
3) LLF vs Reno: Interesting game because LLF's roster is filling up nicely, but their owner is still inactive. No strategy or playbook and no one assigned to the staff makes it tough to win. Just dont think their roster is enough to pull off a win but this is an upset that wouldnt suprise me. And even though they lost last week, I think Reno is still the most improved team in the league.
Reno by 14
4) Minnesota vs DEI: This would be a game that DEI could earn some respect. If this game was three days ago I might have picked this one to be closer. After struggling in the offseason though I think Minnesota is getting it together. TxSteve is way too committed to winning to let this one get away.
Minnesota by 9
5) Memphis vs Providence: This is the Game of the week. Memphis lost a close one to Minnesota last week and Providence suprised me with a big win over DEI. This is a great matchup and probably a game I will watch. If Providence ends up winning this one big then the rest of the Gator League should watch out because the Radicals then become the dark horse of the Gator League. Im going close here because I have much respect for the Maniax, but it would not suprise me if Providence runs away with this one.
Providence by 3
6) South End vs Murder City: If there were two owners more committed to improving I dont know who they are. However Murder City is on the cusp of being an elite team in this game and the Revenge have a ways to catch up. Murder City in another statement game.

Results:
Straight up: 6-0
Vs Spread: 4-2
Good luck everyone!
