Warrior General Games

I have a team featuring all Sophomore rated players with the exception of one backup OT (I signed a buddy's guy he created). My blocking rating is 31 which is lower than several teams in my league. I currently have the R OT on the bench, not an assigned backup. Could having him on my team bring down my blocking rating? I'm willing to cut him and sign a S if that makes a difference...wasn't sure since the R is a bench player. Any help is appreciated!

backup players add to the rating bar, although i don't know if a rookie player will bring up or down your blocking rating.
