Ministry of Dotball.
MoD has 42 human players, all under contract and all owned by him or fah daly. the offense is completely brand new, while the defense from last year has remained in tact. MoD has a current ladder ranking of 110 and is rated an overall 38. the strengths of this team seem to lie in the talents of its QB and the Secondary, while the rest of the team is fairly average in rating. The defense is going to have to hold teams in check at the start of the season while the offense builds its chemistry and finds its groove. This team was a powerhouse last season and should not be underestimated despite the disappointing first round exit in last years playoffs.
Players to Watch.
Fredrick Donald - He had 5 pass deflections and 1 interception while hardly allowing any passes to be received on his side of the field. This team is not big on applying pressure so his ability to remain a shutdown corner is going to be vital to the teams success.
Brett Pickett - he was instrumental in pinning teams deep in there own zone with his coffin punts. his ability to dominate the field position battle for MoD take alot of pressure off there offense which is going to make a big impact for them early in the season.
Keep and eye on.
How this offense comes together, Stobie has a great grasp for gameplanning and will have his team ready from a tactical standpoint. the question remains, for a team that doesnt get alot pressure and relies on other teams to make mistakes, can the new offense gel fast enough to perform if they fall behind early?
Detroit Foreclosures.
Detroit has 43 human players, all under contract. they have a few new faces on offense and defense, particularly at the skill positions. on offense they return there starting quarterback, offensive line and there top two wide recievers while bring in a new mix of players at wide receiver and tight end. in a surprise twist they have decided to not sign a fullback which might mean they are going to return to there early season form from last year and air the ball out alot. On defense they return all of there starting defensive lineman which wrecked havoc on teams last year. they have brought in some new players at linebacker and corner, which was an upgrade talent wise over what they had last year. they had a woeful time stopping the run and we will see if these changes shore up that deficiency. They have a ladder rank of 104, which was tops for the old division and are currently rated a 39 with outstanding ratings at QB, RB and Pass Defense. bloacking and recieving still remain this teams weakest area.
Players to Watch.
Hobo Roberts, Bobo Roberts and Pursuit Man - These 3 players combined to have 43.5 sacks in just league games alone. Hobo and Bobo were in the running for defensive player of the year and some might think Bobo was slighted by not getting it with his 35.5 sacks, 32 hurries and 5 forced fumbles.
Aristotle Roberts - He isnt the focal point in the passing game, but when he does get the ball in his hands he makes an impact. He was the winner of the special teams trophy last year for his work in the return game and was one of the few players last year to record a kick return touchdown. Will he provide enough flash to give Detroit consistently good field position and take home another trophy at years end?
Keep and eye on.
How does the mix of veterans and newcomers come together, and can the team find enough success on offense to win games. the talent is there for this team, now its just up to the owner to get the team ready tactically.
South Cooley High Rangers
SCH has some significant holes with the majority of there team not under contract. they are using a few cpu players and no one knows what to expect from the owner. they have a ladder ranking of 142 and have not performed bad in there games, coming up just short in the majority of them. you have to wonder how good this team could be if the ownership was more consistent and committed.

anyone who signs with them.

will anyone sign a contract.
Alpine
The new team that everyone has circled on there calendar. they are widely considered to be a juggernaut and respectfully so. they bring back there full team from last year, all under contract and all human. they have a ladder ranking of 10, but also have a full seasons worth of experience under there belt. there deep chemistry gives them a distinct advantage over the rest of the league as most have only a half seasons worth of games or are rebuilding from scratch. if consistency is the key to winning, this team will be holding a trophy at the end of the season. they are rated a 40 overall with high marks at QB and Receiving while also have a highly rated defense. with there marks they might just look to spread out teams and run a high tempo offense daring teams to try to keep up.
Players to Watch.
Majority of team - this is not meant as a joke, one look at the statistic on this team and you see there is not one player that stands out above the rest. they have consistently good playing from there whole team with everyone sharing the load equally. its impressive in how almost all of there players have exactly the same stats. that must be one hell of a game of whatever you can do, i can do better they have going on.
Keep and eye on.
if this team has one weakness it seems to be in the kicking game as Tom Haverford only made 5 of 15 field goals while missing 2 extra points. this might be the Achilles Heel that costs them a few games this season.
