Been awhile since I've been on... like the new look and player creation. That being said, I know that boosting was all the rage before in GLB1 and I've seen a couple of people mention it in the players looking for teams forum so I thought that I'd ask the question.

Is it like it was before? Do you get 3 for every season? Is it even a thing?

I thought it was 2 not 3...

You get 2 SP Boosts every season and 2 more in the last season.

You also can extend the life of your bot into plateau with boosts.

There are also 3 AP boosts that get unlocked in the last three seasons.

And you don't boost each season, you boost each 5 levels (pretty sure it's 5). So building a player with 1 day left in the season, boosting, then trying to boost him again at the beginning of the next season no longer works.

The way I understood it (and I could be wrong), but do boosts expire? If I were to not boost as a rookie, but them come into some flex when a guy is a sophomore, could I give him 4 boosts instead of two?

They do not expire. You can use the boosts at any time once you have unlocked them.
