so i guess the question would be why didn't he get a sophomore team?

I read somewhere that there was a place to request a sophmore team when you got on then list but I guess my question would be why would you assume you'd automatically start out at anything besides rookie?

There was a pretty easy to read dropdown menu on the "buy a team" page, asking if you wanted a rookie or sophomore team. At this point, your best bet is to send a message to Support (link right below "Home").
