This ranking is loosely based on fact and largely based on opinion. Thanks for reading. Please post and comment!
1. All Pro Falcons (1) - All Pro cruised through another game this week and is on to bigger games against the Pit Vipers next week and Birdman after that. A.I. is looking awfully efficient early on and is a top team that will provide problems for everyone. So far he has the best wins and no losses, so until someone steps up he will remain at the top.
2. Epic Holiday (5) - I'm not convinced that this is the second best team in PWG, but based on what they have done so far I couldn't see putting them any lower than this on the ranking. Epic has defeated my squad, Straight Cocks and Gerr's Bears so far. Epic is making great game-to-game adjustments and looks like a contender.
3. Fighting Gamecocks (2) - FGC is literally dominating every game, but that isn't hard considering this schedule. The Birdman win is definitely nice, but the rest of the schedule hasn't been great. However the next few weeks bring in Subversive, Dotball, Taz and Requiem as well as a slew of others to end the season. I have a lot of confidence in this team and bet they will finish the season better than 3rd in this ranking.
4. Short Bus Window Lickers (4) - SBWL has ran through an easy early schedule but hit a bump against an above average East-West squad. LE didn't lose, but he didn't wow either. LE has SoA next followed up by OffTopica then a long line of other good squads. I'm interested to see if this style keeps winning or dies off. Really a learning opportunity for me as I wasn't around when these one phase style offenses were big.
5. Chicago 85' Bears (3) - I said before that Gerr wouldn't have a perfect season again this year and I was proven correct early with a pretty convincing loss to Epic, however I am not really worried about this loss. Gerr played my squad close and he took one on the chin against Epic, but maybe this was what he needed to refocus and get on the ball.
6. Requiem Revolver (7) - They move up by default with a win over the CPU Patriots. RR gets a few more relaxing match-ups before things get serious around week 9. Really nothing to see here over then next 3 weeks.
7. Crib Midgets (8) - Look who decided to wake up in the last two weeks and start paying attention! Crib now has consecutive victories over East-West and SoA. The next few weeks brings OffTopica, Jonesbor, Epic, Straight and Gerr to town so the real test has truly just began.
8. Friendly City Psychopaths (10) - He got ate up by Osiris and his little QB scheme. I see this squad as a playoff team, but he will need 1 or 2 upsets to do it. I could see him start the season at 8-0 and finish at 9-7. Obliterator has done some nice things early, but he better shore up some issues or the second half will hurt.
9. Subversive Education (NR) - Welcome to the rankings for the first time this season Itsply! The opening week victory over OffTopica is looking better and better and now with a victory over Taz, Subversive is looking like a salty squad. These next few weeks bring Dotball, FGC and RR to town, so there is still a lot to prove for this great no/no team.
10. TazVikes Nordica (6) - Can I change my vote to worried now? Let me join that bandwagon group that jumps off at every bump. Taz will be fine, but it is concerning to see what has went on so far. He barely escaped with a victory over my no-boost group in week 1. He lost to All Pro and Subversive in weeks 4 and 5. However I am clearly not abandoning ship just yet. I normally try to be objective, but I just see this as a better team than their record. Not dropping them out just yet.
