Oh okay thanks. I thought you got a certain amount of experience for every game that progressed you farther until you're a sophomore

You have 2 more games - ladder games this week and next week. There's no league games left, and playoff games don't give progress, but there are ladder games these last two weeks. That way even teams out of the playoffs have "meaningful" games left.

What about a player who is on a team but behind all the other players? I have a player in that situation. I assumed it was because I created him later in the season.

If you created a player late and missed games, and chose not to use the Experienced option, then he needs to play 30 games - league and ladder only - until he gets to the next tier. There's 30 games in a season, so if you play all the games, you'll make it to Sophomore. If not, you won't.

I used the experienced option.
