The first half 2 Minute drill has been pretty ineffective all season long. It will go to the half with a TO left quite often even if you are within striking distance of the End Zone. Also, if the clock doesn't stop right at 2:00 it completely skips the 2 Minute warning. You can see all these issues in this game below starting with this play. I got down to the 26 yard line with 34 seconds left and 1 TO. My team didn't use the TO and I only got 1 more play off in that time span.

Another problem, is it doesn't also respect your other situational tactics - red zone in particular. For instance, if my 3 min drill settings at the end of a half are to throw deep passes to get into FG range ASAP and I get inside the 10, it's going to still call deep passing plays where everyone is just running around in the back of the end zone.

To piggyback on that, it seems once you are up or down big it then uses those tactics exclusively, irrespective of time left or position on the field.

Gonna bump this, 1st half 2 minute drill still pretty bad.

Ya I think we called a timeout at 1:59 to go in the first half today. lol

Be VERY careful what you ask for here... we got hosed on the opposite where it did take the RZ tactics over the 2 min drill. We ran out the clock when I had it set to pass 100% and lost a playoff game because of this. Maybe there should be a set of 2 min drill RZ tactics.
