Basically, the first set of numbers is "What happens to the max possible value of a skill if Strength is at 10, everything else is 5", followed by "max when Speed is 10, all else 5", followed by the rest of the attributes, with players at minimum height/weight, and taking away any trait-based influences on final values. Then, I see what the mode (most common) score is for each skill, and do a little subtraction to see what sort of influence Strength has on Carry Power (large) or Speed on on Quickness (tiny). Then, the same math, but using minimum values instead of most common.

The goal is to see "does agility affect this skill? Does awareness? Does confidence?"

^^^

And I was able to almost recreate a player's skills by using the data in the spreadsheet.

Probably at some point (if work ever calms the fuck down), I will go through and do interval checks to see if I can't get the attributes effect on skill caps closer (to the .1).

I'd also like to see the effect of attributes on SP Cost. Supposedly an attribute will increase caps and decrease SP cost. A chart that shows the SP cost of increasing each skill from 17 to 18 (or some reliable number) based on a 10-5-5-5-5-5 build (and so on) would help plan builds as well.

It does have an effect - two same height/weight guards http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/26998 and http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/27344
Musenge has 5 confidence, 4 awareness, 5 stamina, while Karede has 4 confidence, 6 awareness, 4 stamina. With no SP spent, Musenge has 18 toughness, Karede 17 (so the attributes do affect initial skill points), and, more important to your point, both have 13 lead block awr. But going to 14 will cost 88 SP on Musenge, 85 SP on Karede.

At this time, however, I'm way too lazy to go around and do all the math needed to figure out the exact relationship and how it moves around with all the 10&5s builds.

Yeah, that's a project I can take on at home, maybe in the offseason.

Hi.

I will be making a run stopping dt. I am willing to use the atributes of someone who understands how they work.
And once the season starts it does not matter in what order i Level up the skills, right?

There is no ALG like GLB1 if that's what you're asking. So no, it doesn't matter from a "math" standpoint.

Go with

10 - Strength
2 - Speed
10 - Agility
4 - Stamina
4 - Awareness
5 - Confidence

You'll have to pick your own traits.

Attribute # affects costs of skills as well, correct? Has anybody started figuring that out? Any way I can help, if it's needed? It'd be nice to have as much information as possible when slapping these things together.
