Not for sure how hard that would be, but it would be interesting to see each teams ELO score on the ladder ranks page. Maybe something like the BCS to see how close you are to passing or getting passed by the teams near you. I just assumed it would be record based for the most part, but noticed DD passed Maine Snails on the ladder despite having a worse record.

Yeah I've been asking for the Rating as well as the ranking from day 1, but no dice so far.
Average League Rating would also be miles better than average league ranking.
They already have an ELO based rating, it's just hidden, so they just need to show it to us.

All it would do is garner complaints that your elo didn't go up as much as you'd like it to have gone up. It's a near meaningless number outside of relativity, and and rankings already show that relativity. Just more numbers and clutter on pages.
Having age based rankings viewable would be nice to have for next season though

The rankings do NOT show that relativity. That's the point. They show a ranking, but not a size of gap. How far ahead of Funday are Maine and DD? Farther or closer than Funday is to #4? No way to tell, all we know is "higher" and "lower".
It's even worse for league average ranking. For example, Grizzly played a league day. The league average rank changed 3 spots. ELO is zero-sum, though, so the league average rating stayed exactly the same. Average rating would give a good idea of how the league has done in ladder overall.
The userbase can be educated on how elo works - if I could make people comfortable with the matrix-based ratings in GLB1, ELO is cake.
Obviously I'm quite partial to ratings and ranking information, but I think it adds a lot of value to see the rating as well as the ranking. For example, it would make ties visible in the ladder ranking page without adjusting the code to display tied rankings.

Absolutely agree with Nibor here, and I have also suggested it before. Would be a great addition.
