Edit:

Problems not just with the 5WR formation as title suggests.

Confirmed:

When I changed the Punt Formation depth chart to only include O-line players, D players stopped playing on the O-line.

However, it continues to allow players to be pulled from that depth chart. If I have a pass blocking OTs only on the left side in my depth chart, but have both run and pass blocking OTs in the left side of the punting DC, it continues to permit run blocking OTs to be pulled in to the LOT slot in O formations.

WTF?

I have 2-3 backups in for all of these o-line spots, all of them o-line. What gives?

Same thing with my STs depth chart, all O positions on KR, OU positions all filled by D:

At least my D players can hold a pass block long enough to get the ball out. No wonder my running game has been shit despite a 100% investment in run blocking and physical skills.

Never seems to happen to the C, so I'm wondering if maybe this is a number of people slotted into the depth chart problem?

I only ever have 2 players slotted into the C position, and a D player never takes the C position. Then again, I have lots of players slotted in at WR and I haven't seen a single D player fill in the WR slot.

there seem to be quite a few bugs in the depth charts for some reason
I have seen my SS lining up at ROLB on numerous occasions even though he never appears on the depth chart anywhere at that position

it seems that the defensive linemen playing along the o-line has something to do with having a special teams depth chart set, for whatever reason and am not sure of the connection

I started this thread about depth chart problems(http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/forum/thread/5139135) that corndog initially made some comments in but havent heard anything since then

it would be nice to not have to worry about players playing somewhere they shouldnt be

I actually haven't tested the fix... I'm at work, so I can't look at any plays. I'll set up a scrim with my old STs depth chart (where the D-line is in). That's my preferred STDC anyway because I want to force fumbles on the PR with those D dots up the middle.

Blast! I've already scheduled 8 today, so I can't test it.
