Is there any way to tell if members of your team are active or not?

Only if they make a post in a forum somewhere. Otherwise, nope. GLB Classic activity is different than GLB2 activity.

Thats a different activity all in itself. People can play GLB1 but not come on GLB2

glb2 logins show up on glb1 profile. Ofcourse, there´s often not a surefire way of telling if they were active on glb1 or glb2.

That's not true.

I'll give you an example.

Team: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/team/151
Inactive Owner: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/home/267352
Same guy on GLB1: http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/home.pl?user_id=267352

That's weird cause I had a couple on my team that were inactive on GLB1 and the time frame coincided on GLB 2

Some people do leave both games. but, some just don't care much for GLB2 and simply forget about it and continue running GLB1 normally.

So really we only can only tell when owners are inactive, but not players?

Unless they post in a forum somewhere and run the mouse over the red square.

this shows that he is inactive on glb2 wich we already know from the team profile. however if he logged in to two but not glb1 then his glb1 profile would still say he logged in recently. summary: you can tell when users have not logged in to glb2 as long as they dont log in to glb1 either. phew. im not sure even i can follow that reasoning.

Yeah, but thats a stretch just give us last login on these homepages. Seems ridiculous that we have to go through those lengths.

Here is what I'd like to see (could be impractical).

Every user has an "Activity Level"

This level is determined by the following:
# of days since Account creation (or 50 days - whichever is smaller)
divided into
# of days in that period that the user logged in

So - someone who has logged in every day for 50 days gets a 100% activity rating
Someone who has logged in 25 of the last 50 gets a 50%$ activity rating
Someone who logged in once in the last 50 days gets a 2% activity rating.

Something like: 70-100% rating = GREEN
50%-70% = yellow
0-49% = red

Maybe that is even the color of their user name in forums / rosters / depth charts / etc.

(obviously the # breakdown is subject to debate)
