Currently the teams record indicates both ladder and league games without regard to playoff ranking. A team could be a division leader headed to a league playoff at 8-4 and be below .500 with ladder games.
This change is even more recommended for next season when freshman teams compete with sophomore teams; a new freshman team maybe doing quite well against the freshman team in its conference and very poor against sophomore teams (to be expected). It will also help you add to the sense or rivalry to see the league and division record of the teams you are on.
