I get this error when I click respec...

WAI?

That is correct. Only time you get to respec while on a team is at the end of the season. Otherwise, you can respec anytime while a FA; but you only get 3 times to do it, so choose wisely of your respec's.

Yeah, this caught me out too. So i stupidly cut the bot, respec'ed him, then couldn't re-sign

If this is WAI, it means the respec is rather pointless. I could see it only being allowed in the off/preseason if on a team as a good compromise.

Yeah, I believe it was Corndog stating at the end of this Season, we get to do 1 Respec.
