you idiot,

CBs are for stopping the Pass. If they can't do that, then they can't do anything.

If WRs can do what they aren't even being built to do and CBs can't do what they are being built to do,
then game is broken.

When will see the effects of Corndogs fix?

I'd hold my judgment on calling it a fix considering it's my first time actually touching the sim code. Seems to generally work better though /shrug

Nobody wants the offense to suck at passing. What we want is for the offense to be good at passing, and the defense to be good at stopping the pass. When both of those things are true, then play calling / game planning is the deciding factor, which is how it ought to be.

This.

There should be an equal number of Run only teams as there are pass only.

Run only teams aren't appealing for the sense that they are terrible at 3rd down. That has nothing to do with how good the passing game is.

Not really, good pitches are about as hit or miss as 10 yard pass plays imo.

P much. Passing game seems to fail mostly independant of CBs, which isn't interesting for CB owners. Good CBs now have about 45% pass allowance across the board, but only ~8% PD rate. What is happening to the other 47% of incomplete passes? Falling in the dirt, dropped, scared of nearby defenders.. whatever it is, it's pretty unsatisfying to watch. If you could see, say, 2 PDs per game, that'd be some good feedback.

yea ur right that was a stretch,

but the fact is TT turned his "run only team" into a pretty pass heavy team in damn near no time.

If testers are doing this, what effect does this have on the user base?
What does this say about the sim?

There's more to interrupting passing than jumping in front of the ball and knocking it down.

The low PD% probably also has a lot to do with teams running Cover 0's so they can blitz more.

Defenders try not to jump the pass if they are the last man.

Well, this is useful info. Makes since because everyone figured out that the best way to stop the pass is to get to the QB. Thanks C-dog.
