why wouldn't every player just accept the lowest contract then in order to help out the team? what is the point of high/med/low amount then?

Higher salary = better on field performance

higher salary means that you build chemistry faster so yes to a point it can mean better performance

A low value contract costs less, but the player will have a maximum chemistry value of 50

A medium value contract is a standard contract, with no bonuses or penalties

A high value contract will give this player a bonus of +25 heart in all games he plays for this team, and will cause his chemistry to recover at 150% of the normal rate
